Very nice, clean house in a quaint little village. The room was spacious with a private bathroom. The bathroom had a nice jacuzzi tub with a skylight above it. There was access to a dining/kitchen area with use of a small refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. Breakfast was at a small, artisan coffee place just a short walk into the village. We had a very enjoyable, peaceful stay at this guesthouse.

Friendly Innkeepers with young family

The innkeepers allowed us to check in early, which worked out well after a 5 and half hour drive. There is a dining area and a living room. In the dining area there is a fridge for guests to keep things cold with complimentary water. There is also coffee and tea available along with china and utensils for take out food. The innkeepers are not onsite but readily available if needed. Also the breakfast is served within walking distance of the guesthouse at the Artisan Coffeehouse. The gourmet breakfast sandwiches were tasty but my husband would have preferred a regular breakfast.

What a gem of a home. We stayed for one night in the Rupeet room and wished we did not have to leave. We were the only ones staying at the property and so had the entire place to ourselves. It felt like home, from the comfortable parlor with baby grand piano to the lovely dining room! This house is beautifully decorated, squeaky clean, very charming and full of history. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable queen bed, a large en suite bath with Jacuzzi and separate shower. We were greeted by owner Rahel and baby Adeline. Rachel was very welcoming and took time to visit with us and orient us to the house and the town. The included breakfast at the Artisan Coffee Shop the next morning was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast sandwiches and scones were wonderful. It was a short, pleasant walk from the B&B to the restaurant. Although breakfast was at this separate location the guest house itself had a full kitchen with coffee, tea and water available to guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Beautiful Valley Guesthouse.

Small Town feel, minutes from everything Rochester has to offer. Perfect location for my visit as I tend to prefer the B&B stay to a chain hotel and I needed to be near Rochester. Beautiful Valley worked out great. The name might suggest views of a valley but no, it’s located on a nice main street in the small village of Scottsville, you’ll have to drive a few minutes for some views. Large comfortable rooms, with a very large bathroom, step up. Comfortable mattress, well appointed, great house, clean and no complaints. The only brief issue was the WiFi seemed to be out, and when I called the owner came right over and had the modem working again in no time, responsiveness was nice to experience. Enjoyed several conversations with the owners, and one of the best features was breakfast, about 4 blocks down the street at their coffee shop, Artesian Coffeehouse. Barista Jamie and cook Hanna were pleasant and helpful, keeping the coffee moving and breakfast cooked to perfection. As part of the B&B, you get a nice choice from the extensive menu, I picked a breakfast sandwich made to order, vanilla yogurt, and a large hazelnut coffee. There more choices like juices, cereal and a pastry but it was more food than I needed, and there is a wide selection of coffee/coffee drinks. I did notice their top seller seemed to be the large cinnamon buns covered with glaze, on hind-sight I should have grabbed a muffin for later. They also mentioned having music at different times, a cool place to hangout. I will definitely stay with them again, meet all my needs and exceeded expectations.

For one thing, there are two properties here - that was never actually made clear via their website or any communications. When I showed up to check into the only property listed, the house was locked, no one came to the door, and no one answered the phone. Luckily, I had family staying at the local Holiday Inn, so I could crash with them for the night, but I was pretty upset. When I went the next day to see what happened, they hadn't even listened to my voicemail. Then I found out that my room had one of only two bathrooms for several rooms - so other people would have to come INTO MY ROOM to use the bathroom. Plus, there was no air conditioning and temperatures were in the 90s. I left and stayed at the Radisson instead.
